Shrubs
A shrub is a woody plant characterized by its relatively low stature and multiple stems arising from the base. Unlike trees, shrubs usually have multiple stems rather than a single main trunk. Their size can vary significantly, but in general, shrubs are taller than herbaceous plants and shorter than trees. The typical height range of shrubs can vary from around 1 foot (30 centimeters) to 15 feet (4.5 meters), although there can be exceptions on both ends. The growth form of shrubs can include upright, spreading, weeping, or prostrate habits.
